Open the multifunction switch cover by removing the 2 small screws on the back.
I checked the fuses in the panel and there does not appear to be any that are blown. You cant buy just the switch so I replaced the left hand grip. Sometimes that would work and heat up.
Cut the heated hand grip harness red wire to within easy reach of the battery positive terminal but DO NOT cut off the in-line fuse holder. Crimp the ring terminal to the end of the red wire per the Packard crimping tool instructions in the service manual appendix. None of our grips will work on a Harley-Davidson XG-750 Street.
